Technical details
Text, headings and tables are preserved. On a full deployment, complex documents (footnotes, headers/footers, multi-section layouts) route to a high-fidelity engine; the slim deployment uses a pure-Python fallback that simplifies those features — surfaced as a notice. Files are processed server-side and deleted immediately.
Frequently asked questions
Will my formatting be preserved?
Standard text, headings and tables convert faithfully. Very complex Word features may be simplified on the slim deployment; the tool tells you when that happens.
Is the PDF editable?
It's a normal PDF — viewable everywhere and printable. For text extraction back out, use a PDF→TXT conversion.
Do I need an account?
No. DOCX→PDF is free and account-free; your document is deleted right after conversion.
